PMI-ACP® Certified in 60 Days: Make it happen

Ahtisham is an Authorized Training Partner Instructor (ATPI)

People desire the PMI-ACP Credential for many different reasons:

The PMI-ACP (Project Management Institute – Agile Certified Practitioner) is a certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) for individuals who have experience using agile methodologies and principles in their project management work.

PMI-ACP is the fastest growing PMI certification. In fact, file Sep 2022, PMI reported that over 52,000 individuals had obtained the PMI-ACP certification till date and the numbers of certified holders were constantly growing. This is more than 10-fold increment compared to the figures of 4,641 back in Dec 2014.

Some reasons why people may desire the PMI-ACP credential include:

  • PMI-ACP certification may increase the earning potential and job opportunities for project managers and other professionals who are interested in working in agile environments.
  • To demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in agile methodologies to employers or clients
  • To increase their credibility and marketability as a project manager
  • To fulfil the requirements of their employer or organization for agile certifications

For me, I needed Agile certification back in 2018, when our organization transitioned towards Agile methodology from predictive. While I already had PMP certifications since 2011, so I knew the credibility of PMI certifications. Another reason for choosing PMI-ACP over various other Agile certification was that PMI-ACP curriculum covers various Agile frameworks and not limited to Scrum or vendor specific frameworks. It also covers Agile mindset, principles, and values and allows individuals to be more adaptive and flexible in an Agile environment.

What is motivating you?

People struggle to obtain the PMP® Credential for even more reasons:

Our experience and our life:

Lack of understanding of Agile principles and methodologies: The PMI-ACP® requires a deep understanding of Agile practices and concepts, which some individuals may not have.

Insufficient experience: The PMI-ACP® requires candidates to have experience working on Agile teams, which some individuals may not have.

Difficulty in passing the exam: The PMI-ACP® exam is known to be challenging, and some individuals may struggle to pass it on their first attempt.

For me, I struggled because I was a really good project manager, but a really bad test taker. Can you relate?

What is your struggle?

Studying is hard:

There is so much content covered on the exam. How can we study it all?

Have you signed up for a PMI-ACP® Prep Course only to have the instructor read 500 PowerPoint Slides to you?

There are thousands and thousands of sample questions available. How do you know as a student, which sample questions are valid and which are not valid for the current exam?
Almost all of the sample questions available tell us what is the right answer, but they don’t explain why the right answer is right.
Very few providers explain why the wrong answers are wrong. Therefore, we end up memorizing answers that we do not understand.
Are you at the point where you have so many questions on the exam content, and there is no one available to provide answers?

Why is studying hard for you?

I have been where you are and I know your frustration.

While I was taking the exam I swore I was going to create a well designed and interesting course on how to pass the PMP-ACP® Exam so no one would ever need to suffer like I did.

I would love to be your personal Coach to pass the PMI-ACP Exam:

The knowledge and confidence to pass the exam without wasting time and money.

  • How to pass the exam on your first (or next) try.
